Hello culinary lovers! Meet again with Quina. This time Quina will again share salad recipes. Yeah, this is the third time that Quina has shared recipes about salads. Why does Quina share so many salad menu recipes? Well, that's of course because salads are healthful foods and salads are Quina's favorite food.
In the first salad recipe, Quina shared an apple-based salad recipe. Then in the second salad recipe, Quina shares the salad recipe added with Chicken Fajita. Now, on this third salad recipe, Quina will share salad recipes that are added with Asian chicken.
Unlike the Chicken Fajita which is a typical Mexican food, as the name suggests, Asian chicken is a typical Asian chicken. Adding Asian Chicken to the salad makes the salad taste crisper and tastier.
As Quina said before, Salad is a very healthy food and very suitable for diet. For those of you who are on a diet, I highly recommend this food menu to try. The ingredients and how to make it are below. Have a try!
Ingredients:
¾ cup of sesame ginger sauce to taste, you can also use homemade peanut sauce below
Salad:
- 4 cups napa cabbage shredded
- 2 cups green cabbage or coleslaw mix, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- ½ english cucumber sliced
- 1 large carrot julienned
- 3 cups chicken cooked shredded
- 3 green onions sliced
- ¼ cup cilantro chopped
Toppings:
- ¼ cup slivered almonds toasted
- 1 cup crispy wonton strips or chow mein noodles
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Combine all salad ingredients in a bowl.
- Add dressing and toss well.
