Savory and delicious fried corn cakes


hello culinary lovers. today I want to write about the culinary that people are most interested in. What is that?. yes it is fried food. one of which is fried food originating from Indonesia. even though this food is not healthy but there are many enthusiasts. one of Indonesia's most favorite fried foods is Bakwan corn. it's really delicious if you eat it while it's hot. eating Bakwan accompanied by drinking iced tea became one of my favorite things to do when it was in the afternoon. while enjoying the bustle of the city.
Fried Bakwan is very easy to process. besides that, the ingredients used are also quite easy to find in markets or sepermarket. the ingredients used there are definitely sweet corn, flour, cabbage, onion, white bottom, eggs, salt, leeks, flavoring and celery (according to taste) if you don't want to use celery, it's okay. celery is filled with the function to smell it and be a sweetener in bakwan corn friend. for more detailed recipes, please see below. good luck. :)

Ingredients:
  • 250 gram fresh corn kernels (about 2 cobs)
  • 50 gram all purpose flour
  • 25 gram rice flour
  • 2 scallion, thinly sliced
  • 1 egg
  • 25 gram shallot, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 100 ml water
  • enough oil for deep frying

Instructions:
  • Stand each ear of corn up in a bowl, use a knife to scrape off the kernels. Throw away the cobs.
  • add the remaining ingredients except oil and stir until smooth into a thick mixture.
